There were many special activities planned during the holiday season at the Marian Center. Some highlights were:
- Pet Therapy Christmas Party
- Christmas Ornament Making
- Gingerbread House Decorating
- Christmas Eve Pajama Party and Pizza Party
- Christmas Day Opening Presents with Santa
- Christmas Day Bingo
- Christmas Cookie Decorating
- Christmas Movie Day
- New Year’s Eve Party
The PM Supervisor made a shimmery ball with Christmas lights that drops from the ceiling of the Atrium on a cord. It’s our own ball drop and residents enjoyed the party and had non-alcoholic drinks. There was a videotaped countdown so residents could keep their normal schedules and routines.
A group of residents went to a John Denver Tribute concert at the Rosemont Theater.
Many of you have seen the recent Misericordia Facebook posting about the Collins School. This year was the 13th year and the students raised close to $6,000! Students will visit Mis for a tour this April or May.
And finally, on January 28th the Marian Center will hold its Post-Holiday Party in the Atrium for families and residents from 10-12 before the MFA Meeting
