McAuley has been busy.
Cinco de Mayo at the Rotunda
Cinco de Mayo
  • Residents enjoy a party  celebrating Cinco de Mayo! Before the party they learned about Mexican heritage and pride and then made decorations with staff including a Papal Picado Mexican banner and a pinata. Singing, music and most of all hitting the pinata could be heard through the halls of McAuley all having a fabulous time!
Meeting and Greeting/Sharing and Learning Across the Campus
Teacher Rhea Martar during class
  • McAuley teachers visited Conway to discuss ways of increasing engagement with severe and profoundly disabled residents. Conway’s Beyond Boundaries visited McAuley residents and staff and PEP and the Music Therapy Program will begin collaborating on Monday evenings in June. Graceful Living and Greco Gardens will also be sharing programming with McAuley residents, including leaf art activity to be sold at Market Days on June 7.
  • Mixing it up learning from one another. Enriching the lives of everyone!
Fitness Bound
  • The Fitness Center is a popular destination for McAuley residents. Residents enjoy the pool, hot tub, fitness equipment with staff and families. A regular part of their personal fitness routine.
  • Families interested in spending time with their residents should arrange days/times with their Q. All are welcome.
