Village Update - October 2019

Staff from the Village wants to thank families once again for their participation in Staff Appreciation Week.  It really makes a difference to them when they hear from you and they get your support so Thank You again!

With Flu season just around the corner, Friday October 11th was Flu shot day for those who signed up to receive them. The nursing team and the Management staff were all on hand to help everything go smoothly.

As the days get shorter and the weather turns colder, families are being reminded to switch to more seasonal clothing. Please bring back the heavier jackets if you have not already done so.

Residents are looking forward to participating in fun Halloween activities. Sunday October 20th is the Sibs Halloween Party in the Jean Marie Ryan Center from 4-6pm. Haunted Village is being held Tuesday October 29th for all to enjoy. There will be trick or treating, a haunted house and a dance party. Wednesday October 30th Rec and Leisure is throwing a Halloween Dance party. Put on your costumes and come out and have a great time!

Last month we reported the Village was trying to figure out a date for a car wash. Due to all the Events coming up on campus, security that needs to be worked out and the construction that is ongoing, plans are on hold until the details can be worked out.

Finally, the Village welcomed 3 new residents this month! Brach Home welcomed Stephan and Trey while  Rice Home welcomed Mackenzie.
